Description
Lee Morgan on Blue Note BST 84335
This is the original Van Gelder-stamped stereo pressing of Lee Morgan “The Sixth Sense” on the Liberty labels of Blue Note BST 84335. Other than a small inaudible splotch near the beginning of the second track on Side 1, the playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; Side 1 label and back cover slick are stamped “Property of Donald Byrd”. * The coated cover is clean and bright throughout; 1” ding and superficial crease at the top left corner. *Years ago, when Donald Byrd failed to pay storage fees, his fabulous collection was bought for pennies on the dollar at a storage auction.
Personnel include Jackie Mclean, Frank Mitchell, Cedar Walton, and Billy Higgins.
