Description

Up for auction is a USED copy of Lee Morgan's 1958 album "Candy" issued on Blue Note Records. Catalogue number BLP 1590. This is a mono pressing and not a Liberty Records reissue. RVG and the Ear mark appear in the dead wax on both sides. The labels on both sides are 47 West 63rd, NYC. Vinyl is G/VG/VG- with some visible surface wear though not that heavily worn. The record plays adequately with some static upon playback but not too major. Played back with an Ortofon MC 10 Super cartdridge. There does not appear to be any spindle marks present. There are some strange patterns in the deadwax that appear to be part of the vinyl. Side two has some more light scuffs than side one. There is a visible scuff at the end of the LP accross the entire track "Personality" and trails off into the dead wax. The cover is VG/VG+ with some visible wear though not too bad. The front cover still contains a nice gloss to it. There is not any major any ring wear on the front or back covers. No splits are visible. The spine is in good shape and is completely readable. The two left upper and lower hand corners are dented a little bit. On the back slick, in the middle liner note column, there is a name written in big letters.
C-O-L-E-Y is all we can read. Comes with original Blue Note inner sleeve. Item shipped in a cardboard cover with cardboard pads for extra protection. Also comes in a brand new outer plastic sleeve and Discwasher inner sleeve. Comes from a non-smoking and pet-free environment. Shipped media mail through the care of the United States Postal Service.
