Description
This item is a VERY RARE, 100% GUARANTEED, ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING FROM 1968. SRS-67113. I bought it new, and it has been in my personal collection since that time.
Front and back covers are in Very Good+ condition. There is some very faint wear….but it is hardly visible. The vinyl has some light surface scratches, but has retained a beautiful gloss finish. The red Smash Records label, with black print, is in near original condition. The record plays with very little surface noise and the fidelity is excellent. This record is an amazing, and very collectable, trip into late 60’s American “baroque” pop. Most of the tracks are produced by iconic 60’s pop producer, Paul Leka.
The Left Banke Too is the second studio album by the 1960s baroque rock band The Left Banke, released on Smash Records in 1968. It would be the final album of the band's initial lifespan, with their next album not appearing until 1986.
