ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This beautiful LP from German RCA (LSC-2659, German Teldec "Telefunken-Decca" pressing, red/silver "Living Stereo" label, original inner sleeve included) entitled "The Power of the Orchestra" features conductor Rene Leibowitz and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's spectacular accounts of the Moussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition (orch. Ravel) and Mussorgsky's Night on Bare Mountain (arr. Leibowitz), recorded in demonstration quality sound at Walthamstow Town Hall, London in 1961. These are justly famous perofrmances, with the RPO supplying high-octane playing of power and panache. Leibowitz's edition of the Night on Bare Mountain, replete with wind machine and an augmented percussion section, is simply stunning.

CONDITION:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jacket is EXCELLENT. There is slight bumping/wear at corners, as well as minor creasing and edgewear. However, there are no owners' markings, seamsplits, bends, or other defects, and the whole remains solid, bright, and glossy – overall, a very attractive collector's copy.
The condition of the LP is near-MINT. It is not 100% flawless. I suppose there are a few 'sounds', none of which rises to the level of a tic or a real defect. This is a near-MINT or near-perfect copy. Really, it is superb.
