JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO - 'TWO VIRGINS'
1968 UK 1st PRESS *STEREO* LP
**MONO COVER**
This rare 1968 UK 1st stereo pressing is on the dark green Apple/Track label: 613012
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Apple Records..' rims.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in an unlaminated 'Technink Limited' printed mono cover with the text on the front panel.

Complete with its original matt-black inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: SAPCOR 2A-1 & SAPCOR 2B-1
Stamper numbers: 1/O & 1/O
Visual: EXCELLENT
Clean, bright & glossy surfaces with the only significant mark being a very light hairline stylus scratch on side 1, but this is niether feelable or audible.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals some light inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines but no other marks or wear.
100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
This copy has recieved just careful play on good quality equipment and plays throughout without any groovewear distortion or background noise.
There are no clicks, pops or any other significant or major audible faults anywhere on the fine copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Apart from some general age-toning, this rare cover is in superb shape.
Both panels are uncreased, bearing just a very faint disc impression from storage.
All corners are clean & unbumped and both opeing edges are totally unworn.
Both seams and the unworded spine are unstressed & unsplit.
This disc has been carefully audibly graded in its entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
