Recorded live at The Roxy, Hollywood, CA
Michael McKean and David L. Lander, known as Lenny and Squiggy from the 1976-83 ABC television series, Laverne and Shirley, created the characters while both were theater students at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
They released their one and only album in 1979, and did some television appearances (including a memorable one on American Bandstand) and a small live concert tour (I saw them at the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach, CA) to promote the LP. Their backup band included Christopher Guest as Nigel Tufnel on lead guitar, five years before This is Spinal Tap. Although not included on the album, the group performed "Heavy Duty" at their live shows, which Spinal Tap later recorded.
Record looks VG, almost VG+, plays VG+. A few scuffs, paper marks, no scratches.
Jacket is VG. No ring wear (had shrink wrap when I bought it), small creases at spine, top edge, and bottom edge; two-inch crease on front in middle, towards right. Two small price stickers inside cover.
Innersleeve is VG+. Two-inch seam split at bottom, tiny bit of wear on one side at bottom.
Poster is VG+. No tears, a few wrinkles.
