Nice RARE UK pressing of this legendary album by the mighty Leon Ware, one of the best smooth soul albums ever made - perfect for lovemaking! Recorded around the same time as Marvin Gaye's I Want You album (Marvin contributes backing vocals to Holiday and Bobby Womack also appears on the title track) as Leon helped co-write and produce that album, it was released around the same time with hardly any promotion and disappeared without a trace, in recent years it has finally got the credit it deserves. It is, in my opinion, one of the best soul albums ever made, and definitely one of the finest albums Motown ever released. What makes this even more special is that it is an ORIGINAL UK PRESSING!!! These are SERIOUSLY RARE, the US pressings on Gordy are hard enough to find but finding a UK pressing is nigh on impossible now! The UK pressing is often forgotten about and I myself only recently discovered it (when I came across this one). The album sold so little in the US, I wouldn't think no more than a few hundred were pressed over here. As I'm sure you know, UK Motown pressings are top notch as they were manufactured and distributed by EMI, so you can imagine how great this sounds. This is also in amazing shape, good luck finding another like this! One for the archive! Very hard to come across, and hardly ever turns up, especially in this condition! Don't miss out!
Vinyl is in EX+ condition : no visible marks, looks and sounds amazing, name written on B side label
Sleeve is in EX condition : in nice shape, light wear on both sides, spine and edges are great, some light wear at the opening and name written on back (slightly faded) at opening
