Here I have for sale the UK stereo jazz album 'Ports Of Pleasure' (1957), by film composer Les Baxter With His Chorus And Orchestra.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom):
Vinyl – VG. Very clean on visual inspection. No signs of wear on either side. Played just pre-listing and runs through superbly. Sound clarity is wonderful from this 1957 recording. Some mild surface static in places but a very enjoyable album of light music.
Outer sleeve (Cover) – VG-EX. Colours remain unfaded and bright. Thin laminated front and back. Tiny delamination in top right at aperture. Slight disc outline around most of front. Edges and spine are clean and only slightly nicked in places. Corners show only the slightest scuffs and light wear through normal handling. Aperture is slightly bowed from some handling. Reverse is yellowed but flipbacks are all intact and in place. A few creases. Some discolouration at aperture. Generally a decent sleeve.
Inner sleeve – VG. White 'window' paper with plastic lining. Minor folding and crimping, light creasing. Handwritten track notes and cat number on one side. Intact.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
