Description
Les Chambers And His Mountaineers--Starday 137--1954
Original mid-1950s Texas country-western 78 rpm record, Starday 137, Les Chambers And His Mountaineers, Too Much Pride b/w Lonely Heart Waltz. Recorded March 1954. Merle Travis on lead guitar. Note Beaumont, Texas address at bottom of label. Playing surface is still bright and shiny with average minor scuffs from use, but no chips, cracks, warping, or other damage. Minor background noise but nothing affecting overall sound quality. Name faintly written on labels as can be seen, otherwise no label damage. Nice early example of this Southeast Texas label [George Jones got his start with them] and is in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
