Description

hi thankyou for looking at my auction
Torpedo Records was one of the UK producers reggae labels in the late 60s, early 70s. It was set up by The Equals bassist Eddie Grant and UK producer and sounsystem operator Lambert Briscoe during 1970. It is best remembered these days for its Hot Rod All stars Sides and one or two others. Larry Lawrence twiddled the knobs on a few tracks, notably Errol English`s cover of the Small Faces Sha La LaLa Lee. The B-side of this was entitled A.G.G.R.O. by teh Bovver Boys and dispite the skinhead-flavoured title.
The label folded the same years it started, but Grant revived it again in 74-75.
i have a nice collection of rare records from this cult reggae label the belonged to my late father, who was a dj in the early 70s the records are in great condition still very shiny, with only very fine scratches on them if any, please have a look at all my records i have up for auction there is some nice soul ones amongst them to regards wendy  Check out my other items!
