For Sale is my Original Release 1970 Beatles Album - LET IT BE - PCS 7096
Let It Be’ was supposed to be the album that would bring the Beatles back together. The original concept ‘Get Back’ album was supposed to be released in July 1969, but following disagreements the tapes were eventually passed on to Phil Spector almost a year after the original tapes were recorded, Phil added strings, choirs and lots of the production goop that had made him one of the ‘60s’ most famous producers. The newly retitled ‘Let It Be’ album was released on May 8, 1970, as the group’s final album. Paul McCartney had left the band a month earlier, effectively ending the Beatles.
Description
Item is in very good condition with no marks or scratches and comes complete with book with inner and outer sleeves. Other than the outer sleeve (box) which has some marks and slight wear as can be seen in the final photograph the remainder of the item is in excellent condition as can be seen from all other photographs. All photos were taken with flash to show the quality of this item to the full, however due to doing this handling marks on the cover and book photographs have been exaggerated and are not evident when viewed normally
Item has been stored for years in a record storage case with additional protective plastic cover since moving over to CD (sacrilege I know)
Book pages are all intact, clear, clean and unmarked
As with all of my items I start auctions at £0.99 and the item will go to the highest bidder
Due to the book weight, the item weighs over 1kg, Parceforce postage of £11.99 and my £1.00 packaging costs will total £12.99. As eBay limit the amount I can put to P&P in this category to £7.00 I have decided to offer free P&P (therefore please bid accordingly)
Collection in person is also available should you wish to see before you buy, however to avoid time wasters a non refundable £10.00 deposit will be required prior to arranging collection. On final payment for collected items £12.99 will deducted from the balance to reflect my savings on postal charges
