Description
On offer here from my rare record collection is The Rolling Stones 'Let It Bleed' the 1969 DECCA UNBOXED STEREO original UK 1st pressing WITH poster. THIS ALBUM IS FANTASTIC AND MANY SAY THE ROLLING STONES FINEST WORK! I HAVE TEST PLAYED IT BEFORE LISTING AND CAN REPORT THAT IT PLAYS EXCELLENT on both sides when played loud! The music is ultra clear with the bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from a 1st Press DECCA UK STEREO vinyl! Just a few seconds of light dust distortion to be heard at the quieter intros of a couple of tracks. A few plays will help resolve this, as its just aged dust deep in the grooves. Overall it is an excellent listen with an overall sound quality which won't disappoint anyone.
In addition to the excellent audio return, this album is complete as can be seen by the listing photo. It comes with a great VK poster which has never been away from the solid stickered outer cover with its mono/stereo peep hole in the back AND it comes with the original 1ST EDITION BLUE STEREO INNER identifying the London Bach Choir credit!!!! This was later removed by Decca.
In grading the album, I can say that visually the vinyl/wax on both sides is in EXCELLENT condition! Most of these 60s Stones LPs are as you expect usually found WITH lots of deep SCRATCHES. This one is NOT one of those. The record labels are in top condition with NO writing or wear.
It is great to find that the record plays as excellent as the visual. As said above, the record comes in its ORIGINAL 'Let It Bleed' inner. The POSTER is in STUNNING condition with NO rips, NO tears, NO wear, NO stains and NO pinholes. The poster has clearly NEVER been out of the cover! The STICKERED Cover advertising the free VK poster is in EXCELLENT condition! It retains ALL its original flatness, MEGA shiny laminate and NO writing. The unlaminated back is also in excellent condition with NO writing or wear.
Although I believe my description speaks louder than any photos can, please ask if you want to see more photos and I will send them to you. Buy it now option, just contact me!
