Description

  Crosscurrent Community - Let The Cosmos Ring! - Avant Garde Stereo AVS 131 - '' Vital Vibrations of Hope, Joy and Peace " ca.1970 .  This Canadian groups album has a mixture of echo-laden Horns , Cadet Concept style Pop Jazz Psych , Coffee Shop beat poetry , and folk tunes right out of the Mighty Wind all done with a heavy anglo-feel.  Sometime during the recording session someone must have spiked the Kool-Aid. The 13 minute " Genesis " is a mind blowing psychedelic freak-show with a little bit of everything mentioned mixed in plus : Weird Atonal Slide Guitar , slow rumbling Fuzz Bass , creepy Doomsday Voice Over, all dosed with liberal Tape Echo that makes it sound like a Richard Strauss inspired Ash-Ra Temple outake .  

  Cover is Ex+, very good color with only very faint ringwear . Vinyl is VG++ , clean label , a few surface scratches , sounds good with some pops and background noise in quieter parts .
