Alston records RARE MODERN SOUL PROMOTIONAL COPY

This album is an absolute killer modern soul album. The album also has one or two disco/funk tracks on it.
The album was released by American label Alston records in 1980. The soul tracks "Something Special" and "NYC" are the best tracks of the album and also Lewis Kirton's best songs. In fact Tk records released the LP "Heaven in the Afternoon" which contained all of Kirtons hits and a total of 7 songs were taken from this album.
Lewis Kirton hailed for the West Indies and is well known for bringing in a bit of reggae beats in his songs which I have observed in a couple of tracks in this album.
The album is an ORIGINAL PROMTIONAL RELEASE from the U.S. To be accurate the promotional copies were released two months before the first issue This is definetly a collector's must have. There were only about two hundered of these issues put pout into the market.

The record and sleeve is in MINT condition. The Vinyl hasn't been played. As shown in the picture, there is a "promotional copy" sign at the centre of the vinyl.The sleeve is in tip top condition as it is covered with a seal
There is a price sticker and a price written on the seal but nothing is on the sleeve so the seal can be removed to leave a MINT record.
