Description

This brand new 12” vinyl was released for Record Store Day 2014 and is in mint condition, and has never been played. The plastic sleeve has a slight split at the bottom centre seam, but this in nowise affects the record. The record is a limited edition Record Store Day Exclusive pressed on a clear vinyl with coloured yarn pressed inside the record. It is one of only 1000 released worldwide for RSD. It will be carefully padded with bubble wrap and packaged in a premium cruciform record mailer.

12" clear vinyl with coloured yarn pressed inside the record. Extremely limited edition just for Record Store Day with only 1,000 units being made in the US. The vinyl will contain 4 tracks including "Mess On A Mission", and 3 remixes. 

For Record Store Day 2014, Liars (Angus Andrew, Aaron Hemphill and Julian Gross) have created a unique, artful piece of clear vinyl featuring their first single, “Mess on a Mission” off their upcoming album, Mess.

 

The 12” will include remixes from Silent Servant (Sandwell District / Hospital Productions), and Black Bananas (Jennifer Herrema of Royal Trux/ RTX / Drag City) as well as the unreleased track, “Blah Vets.” The clear vinyl will have rainbow string pressed inside the vinyl and will be packaged in a thick, clear plastic sleeve.

 

As Liars explain, “‘Mess On A Mission’ acknowledges some of the modern day issues of uncertainty, of being overwhelmed with possibilities, too many choices and it vocalises them. It’s cathartic and a more positive spin on something our music has always dealt with: anxiety”
