Description
Liberation - Love Looks Good On You / In the City (SOA 150) VG wol
Killer 45 from this Savannah group, recording their first 45 in Atlanta, produced by Rockabilly musician Ric Cartey. While it all sounds unlikely, the results were amazing. The Spooner Oldham A side is a mid-tempo sweet soul stunner, while the flip side is an original song penned by the group's bass player and is a gritty Psychedelic Funk track. As you can see, Larry was protective enough of this record to write his name on both labels so his sister (Gwen, whom I happen to have met) wouldn't take it from him. As you might suspect, I bought this from Gwen. Click the song titles to hear a sample of the record being offered.
