Thoughts Of Movin' On 

The Record comes complete with its original Vertigo Swirl Inner-Bag

Early UK press with the following, machine stamped Matrix No: 

• 6342011   1 Y // 1 ? 4 2 0      1   1   2
• 6342011   2 Y // 1 ? 4 2 0     1    1   2

Grading; please have a look at the pictures: 

• Gatefold Cover: VG - VG+
• shows some discoloration (mainly within the brown color of the gatefold sleeve)
• some ring wear; mostly on the backside 
• only slightly turned up corners
• no seam splits

• Original Vertigo Swirl Inner-Bag: VG
• yellowed (vergilbt) on both sides
• there is a crack of about 1 cm near by the center hole on one side

• Labels: VG+ - NM
• Side A: NM; very clear, nearly perfect 
• Side B: VG+; some stains below the center hole in direction of the left side

• Vinyl visual graded: 
• Side A: VG - VG+; shows a lot of stains and wales, and hairline scratches but displays no major deterioration in sound quality 
• Side B: VG, there is a scratch on the first track on the B-side which is hearable and clearly visible, there are also stains and wales but lesser than on the A-Side   

• Vinyl audio graded: VG+
• Side A: Warm and powerful sound, here and there some surface and cracking noise (mainly in the silent passages)
• Side B: VG - VG+, apart from the scratch on the first track the sound quality is also very nice   

All in one a nice copy of  a very rare record

Record Grading System according to the „Goldmine Standards“

Mint (M) 

The Record is absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed. As I grade my records very carefully, I never use Mint. If a record is still sealed, I mention this in my describtions.

Near Mint (NM or M-) 

A nearly perfect record. The record shows no obvious signs of wear, with no surface marks or deterioration which could have an impact on the sound quality. 

A 45 RPM or EP sleeve has no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling. 
An LP cover has no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects. No cut-out holes, either. And of course, the same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the like. 
The record itself is in brand new condition

Very Good Plus (VG+)

A Very Good Plus record shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. 
Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that shouldn’t affect one's listening experiences. 

The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play. 
Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves may have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount

Very Good (VG)  

Many of the defects found in a VG+ record are more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise is  evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. 
Labels can be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. 

The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.
