Lightnin' Hopkins
Lightnin' And Co.
On Prestige Records BV1061
Ok, so we've done our homework on this one. The first pressing was on Bluesville 1963.
We find no reference to any pressing on Prestige or Prestige/Bluesville in Goldmine or Rockin' Records.
This particular prestige label was issued in 1964...however the catalog # starts in the 7000 series. No mention of this label with a #1000 series.
Since this lp has the catalog # 1061 we assume that this record was issued at approx. the same time as the Bluesville record. Therefore we consider this and obscure and rare pressing. We welcome any clarification.
Condition: Cover is VG+, very light ring wear on front. Record is VG+
