Lightnin' Hopkins - Lightnin' Hopkins (How Long Has The Train Been Gone) LP USA Original Issue Mono Sphere Sound LP from 1964
On offer here is one of the rarest and most sought after Lightnin' hopkins LP's, it is the 2nd issue of the classic Fire LP 'Mojo Hand' released slightly later on the Sphere Sound label. It is said to be one of his finest recordings and I cannot argue with that.
The vinyl although still glossy is not great and has scuffs and several scratches to each side, mostly visual. Difficult to grade but somewhere in the VG- to VG grade, however the cover is fantastic and just about NM grade, no splits, creases or writing and really is about as good as it gets.
Plain inner sleeve.
This is a classic Lightnin' Hopkins album and will only get harder to find. Despite the condition of the vinyl this is still a nice album to have, I grade very conservatively and think you will be very happy with this copy until you are lucky enough to find a real keeper copy.
