ITEM. Link Wray: Blow Your Mind; Rumble ’68 (Heavy 101, 1968) Vinyl and labels are clean. Plays VG+ You can find Rumble ’68 on other 45s and CDs.  Blow Your Mind (approx. 4.27 min.) is extremely rare. I’ve never seen it for sale during the last 15 years except for this 45 when I bought it.

SELLER'S LISTING AND GRADING PRACTICE. I am converting all of my vinyl collection to CD and selling some of those records on E-Bay.  As a result, I have played each record shortly before listing and I have graded the vinyl based upon how it actually plays in accordance with Goldmine grading standards.  I am only listing records that grade VG, VG+ or M-.  All of my listings are used records, so none should receive a Goldmine M (mint) rating intended only for new, unplayed records.  I don't list any record that plays worse than VG because it's not worth doing so in terms of my time or customer satisfaction issues. With respect to labels, my practice is to note any significant defects, such as stickers or names of prior owners or other writing.  Unless indicated by the picture, the original cover sleeve is not included, although all items will be shipped in one of my used paper cover sleeves inside a used clear vinyl sleeve.  

Relevant Goldmine grading standards are as follows:  

M-, which is the same as Near Mint (NM).  "A nearly perfect record. Many dealers won't give a grade higher than this, implying (perhaps correctly) that no record is every truly perfect. The record should have no obvious signs of wear." ----- "An LP jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. No cut out holes, either. And of course, the same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the like. Basically, an LP in Near Mint condition looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap."

Very Good Plus (VG+).  "A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.  Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been mishapen by repeated play. Picture sleeves and LP liner sleeves will have some slight ring wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP jacket may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a Very Good Plus record highly acceptable. A synonym used by some collectors and dealers for a 'Very Good Plus" is 'Excellent'."

Very Good (VG). "Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc.  Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scraches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.  Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them."

Seller only accepts PayPal.  Shipping and handling charge for economy shipping of one single 45 or single or double 7 inch EP within the United States is $3.75 and will be shipped first class.  Combined shipping is available. Add $1.00 of each additional 45 or 7 inch single or double EP. Should you be purchasing a 45 of EP with one of the few LPs I am selling. add $1.00 to the cost of the LP shipping.    

For USPS shipments to Canada, for which media mail is not available, shipping is $8.75  and add $1.25 for each addtional 45 or 7 inch EP. (Sorry but new USPS rates went into effect earlier this year.)  No shipping to other than the US or Canada unless it happens to be combined with one of my LP shipments.
