Original first copy of Liquid Stone (here comes the weekend) 1981
I am selling this from my own collection as the time has come to part with some of my rarer records and let someone else appreciate them as I have over the years, I acquired this record when I was a roadie for the original band back in the late 70s and 80s, you can see from where I'm selling from is Buckingham which is where the band originated and is where I'm still residing . This is a genuine first addition, ( probably one of the first ) This is a MEGA RARE and great PUNK / KBD single by the U.K. band LIQUID STONE from 1981. This is only the second time this single has appeared on Ebay, and is only known in a small (less then 10) quantity, imagine a cross between THE RAMONES, and THE UNDERTONES, and you might get near, this is in the top 10 of all times PUNK / POWER POP singles, and is more rare then ANTI SOCIAL, REVENGE, BEEZ etc..., NEVER COMES FOR SALE !!!. The single came out on the the band's own LIQUID STONE label, catalogue number 001, with hand glued labels !!!. This is a great PUNK / POWER POP / KBD single that has NOT been comped on any of the KBD / POWERPEARLS type compilations, and is ORIGINAL !!! The songs are: HERE COMES THE WEEKEND / BECAUSE OF YOU. The single never came in a picture sleeve, and The condition of the VINYL is VG++. I had to put a reserve on this rare PUNK single considering it's rarity, and the fact that I already had good offers for it !!. I will only accept payment through PAYPAL.
