Little Carl Carlton - Competition Ain't Nothing/ Three Way Love

(Back Beat 588 USA 7" 1968)

This is a USA original 7" pressing. The "Back Beat" labels have a large centre. It has 1st press matrix numbers. It comes with its original company plain white paper sleeve. The A-side is a classic Northern Soul track. It is available to hear on Youtube if you are unfamiliar with the track.


Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are three small hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 2 cm in length. There are some light or very minor pressing marks on some areas. VG condition. There is a very small number written on the A-side label. Otherwise, there is minimal wear. The company paper sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light to very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are no noticeable clicks or pops. A very reasonable audio copy!
