Little Feat Hoy Hoy test pressing
Test pressings were produced by record companies to test the pressings of albums before going into full production.  Sometimes they would be used to get music out to publications for review  due to lead times, facilitating timely reviews with street dates.  The amount of tests pressed varied on the amount of people required to hear a record for quality assurance and/or publications being serviced. This particular test pressing is for the Little Feat release, Hoy Hoy (2BSK-3538) released on June 24, 1981.  It is a 2-LP album in two plain, white cardboard jackets (taped together) with white labels on the discs. There are two label copy documents (one for each disc) dated May 12, 1981  indicating side info (Side 1, etc.), song titles, timings, composers, publishing companies and producers (pictured).  Also included is the actual album 4-color 10-page printed booklet with lots of info and photos of the band and associates. This is fine piece for Little Feat fans or test pressing collectors.
