Description
White label with black text. This is a "live" performance of the Mayer Trio at the Waldorf Astoria, NYC on augus 14, 1966 in the "Starlight Room". The NARA is the National Associationof Radio Announcers. The record is a promotional copy marked "Not For Sale". Probably made avialable,privately, to Convention addendees and never sold commerically. 6 tracks with Mayers, piano; Martin Rivera, bass; Bill English, drums. Stamped "Promotional" on the back cover. Extremely Rare!
Cover: VG 1" split on the top edge at the insert edge; 3" split on the bottom edge with some additional bottom edge wear with some paper loss .
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are a few very light brush-like, short, rub marks and 1 small light rub mark. All marks are short and barely visible. There are a few discoloration marks in the vinyl caused by the manufacturing process and not wear or handling. There is some crackling on the 1st 2 tracks on Side 1. These are audible but the music can be heard clearly. It would seem that the noise is in the pressing and not a function of wear. Side 2 has only a rare click, otherwise no surface noise. Audibly checked.
