  For sale is a vinyl record by Lobo titled "Introducing Lobo", originally released in 1971 by Big Tree Records, distributed by Ampex Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped "Sterling LH" followed by "ARC 5-14-71", indicating that his record was mastered at Sterling Sound of New York City, N.Y. by Lee hulko, then this first edition was made at Alentown Record Company's pressing plant located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 and immediately put this album into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with this release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as Excellent because of vey minor corner blunts, edge rubs, faint ring wear and a crease down from the middle of the top seam. The spine has a little color loss from rubs. The vinyl is visually graded between Excellent and Near Mint Minus because of superficial sleeve marks, but still with surfaces that are shiny and bright, without any surface scratches or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading it as Excellent because of occasional super low levels of surface noise, more noticeable between tracks. It plays all the way through without any pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. This is still one of the best copies of this hard to find album that I have ever seen or heard.
