Description
I specialize in lost, atmospheric, and hypnotic 45s. Grading is done conservatively, visually. Check unaltered sound clips. I currently have a number of cool soul, popcorn, Latin, rockabilly, garage, R&B, country, surf, blues, funk, psychedelic, sunshine pop, mod, lounge, exotica, heavy rock, gospel, swamp pop, Tejano, townie rock, song poem, punk, and oddball instrumental 45 obscurities up for grabs. In addition to a small batch of Greek 45s, I've also listed some really fantastic and scarce garage band 45s from Texas this week.
ARTIST: Sage
TITLE: You Have Been Chosen / I've Been There
LABEL: Trunk
CONDITION: Strong VG (Terrific player - gorgeous gloss with typical fine scuffs and scratches. Initials in ink on label flip.)
Viva la local rock! Ambitious arrangements, big, spiraling guitar leads, and cool hippie harmonies from Bill and Patty Swicegood. I can only describe this as "hippie psychedelia" but it's honestly more subtle and interesting than that. Lowland Recording, 1973. Greater Dallas area obscurity.
