Description
Released by London in 1966, cat # HLC 10037; this is “She Blew A Good Thing” / “Out To Lunch” by The American Poets.
This is a yellow/black demo with the release date on the labels. There is an inspection number – 248 and 220 on the labels. The labels are otherwise clean with quite a few spindle marks on the B-side label – no surprise there! There are some light surface marks on the vinyl, but none of any importance. This is borne out by the playing condition, which is excellent for the A-side. The B-side plays very good. The record comes in a plain white sleeve.
This is the final exclusive list of soul singles. From now on, soul will be mixed with other genres and our lists will focus on some of the legendary releases of the 60’s and 70’s. You’ve already seen some of them – still more to come so keep watching!
All of these singles come from the same special source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are still just £1 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance will be required if the value of the order exceeds £34. If you refuse insurance and the record is damage or goes missing in the post, I’m afraid we cannot be held responsible and will not entertain any claims. UK record delivery is an extra 70p and special delivery is £4.75. Overseas insurance will be either £3.50 or £5.50 dependent upon the value.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
