The Book of Secrets and Live in Paris and Toronto was released as numbered, limited-edition, 180-gram, stand-alone vinyl albums on April 7, 2017, completing the state-of-the-art vinyl reproductions of Loreena’s core musical catalogue. These individual releases are also part of the 20th anniversary collector’s edition vinyl box set that includes a 12-inch, numbered, limited-edition, 180-gram vinyl single of the worldwide hit “The Mummers' Dance” – which remains exclusive to the box set.
“There were so many formative adventures in the long journey that culminated in The Book of Secrets,” says Loreena, “and it’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years. My trips to Siberia, Tuscany, May Day in Padstow, England, and the actual recording of the songs themselves all informed the process back then. I hope that listeners will sense the adventure that was – and still is – The Book of Secrets.”
