This is a rare 45 rpm Cumbia record by Los Rumbaney featuring “Granizo” on one side and “Cholito” on the other. The record was released during the early 1970s on the Peruvian Dinsa label, number 0949. It is made of really striking marbled green, blue, brown, yellow and black “splatter” vinyl with an op-art pink label - I haven’t been able to find a similar example anywhere. I’ve inspected the record with a flashlight and also play graded it. Visually, you can see some surface wear with the flashlight, but not otherwise, probably due to the multicoloured vinyl. I’ve played it through and the music is loud and clear - I heard no background noise during playback, so I would grade it VG+. The original owner affixed a piece of masking tape on the Cholito label. Description

The original owner affixed a piece of masking tape on the Cholito label - you might be able to remove it, I didn’t try.

The record has been cleaned with the Disc Doctor’s Quick Wash Record Cleaner.

This 45 looks great and sounds great - wonderful addition to a collection!  Please view my other auctions for more interesting vinyl, including other 45s…..
