Description
Mega Rare LP of Lou Donaldson - Blues Walk (Blue Note 1593 - mono) 1950s blue and white labels with 63rd St New York address, Deep Groove, RVG and ear on both sides. (no trademark R on either side) - NOT a current re-issue! Arguably Donaldson's best LP also features Ray Barretto, Herman Foster, Peck Morrison and Dave Bailey in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG-/POOR condition with lots and lots of marks that will make noise throughout the entire LP - snap crackle pop - you are going to hear A LOT of noise on this one. (played through on my set, but with a lot of noise!) There is a fold in the label of side 2 that appears to have been from the original manufacturing. The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, clear tape on the top and bottom seams and a bit of bending of the corners. NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. Definitely NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see at any price or condition?
Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together to any country.
Mailing costs have gone up. Postal rates have increased dramatically, the cost of record mailers has increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing - in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments. I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.
International mailing costs: International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as mailers and packing materials. One LP to Canada would be $20.00
US mailing costs: Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as the cost of mailers and packing materials.
Paypal accepted or write for preferred payment options. Serious bidders only - payment must be received in ten days from notification. All items are guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
