Description
LOU DONALDSON - LOU TAKES OFF, Blue Note 1591, deep groove pressing, 47 West 63rd on jacket and label, RVG and ear symbol in dead wax, laminated jacket.
On this classic 1957 LP, the musicians are Donald Byrd (trumpet), Curtis Fuller (trombone), Lou Donaldson (alto sax), Sonny Clark (piano), George Joyner (bass), Art Taylor (drums).
The tunes are Sputnik, Dewey Square, Strollin' In, Groovin' High.
Condition of record is E+, some very light scuffing, no scratches, no spindle marks, plays clean & quiet. Jacket shows very slight overall wear, no seam splits, lamination has begun to peel on front.

P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
