Description
Here's a great release on the Blue Note label (BLP 1537). Lou Donaldson Quartet Quintet Sextet Blue. Appears to be original press. Deep groove mono label with 767 Lexington Ave. address on label and Ear Mark and RVG etched in runout. 767 Lexington address on back of jacket.
Condition - The jacket shows wear including splitting on spine and edges and some writing on back. The jacket grades at weak VG. The record has many marks and scuffs from use. The record grades at G+ by sight. I played some tracks and most seemed to play a bit better than they looked with persistent but mostly light background noise punctuated by periodic louder noise.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards - Mint (M), Near Mint (NM), Near Mint Minus (NM-), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), Very Good Minus (VG-), Good (G). I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed, opened records, discs or tapes. I reserve that designation for sealed items only. The highest grade I give opened, unsealed items is NM. Grading here is strictly by sight unless specifically noted in the condition section.
