Clifford Brown (tp) Lou Donaldson (as) Elmo Hope (p) Percy Heath (b) Philly Joe Jones (d) WOR Studios, NYC, June 9, 1953 Original BLUE NOTE TEN INCH Lp pressing, #5030,
Blue & White Label, Double Sided Deep Groove, and with the Lexington Ave address, has the "EAR" and "9M" stamped in the dead wax, no "INC" no "R".
FLAT Lip Edge, Made in USA, 1953 The vinyl looks pretty clean except pressure marks due to years of stacking in a pile and a few very light needle lines (or possibly one scuff) which do/does not affect play, however, there is some very light background static throughout (which may or may not be cleanable with a VPI), VG++.
The cover: has light ringwear front and on the back paste-on, which is also yellowed around the edges, a nd a small stain on the back. There's heavy edgewear along the bottom, and a few dings and chips along the top, no splits, corners slightly rounded, VG++ (see pictures).
