Description
Lou Donaldson, Sunny Side Up. Blue Note 4026. Cover lists 43 West 61st St, New York 23, but the vinyl shows 47 West 63rd St - NYC. Deadwax shows RVG stamp and ear mark, BNLP-4036-A and BNLP-4036-B. Cover is in VG+ condition, with a very tiny bit of wear on the upper and lower right corner; a tiny bit of wear in the lower left corner of the spine; a light brown stain in the large P in the title (pictured); a slight tear in the lower left corner in the back that is not separated from the cover (also pictured--perhaps is was glued); a small light brown stain on the upper right corner of the back; and a black dot on the lower right hand corner. Otherwise very solid, no splits. The label has no spindle wear, but side 2 has a black mark that appears to be a crayon mark, but I can't be sure (see pic). I would rate the vinyl a high VG, possibly VG+. There are several visible scratches on both sides, but they are barely audible on side 2, and you can only hear some light crackling on "Politely," a ballad on side 1, and a light scratch on track 2, "The Man I Love." None of the scratches is distracting and the LP has a vivid, immediate sound. I house the LP in a white paper sleeve, the cover is a plastic cover. I will ship priority, and I will add insurance depending on the final price. International shipping will be adjusted depending on the destination, but count on it being anywhere from $15.00 to 25.00.
