Collectors still argue over whether the cornet/trumpets on this record

is Bix Beiderbecke or Mannie Klein (or both). Klein, who could play

with the best of them, claimed he was on this session, while leader

Raderman asserted it was Bix. I'll leave it to those more qualified than

myself for judgement.


In any case, with great solos on both sides, Lou Raderman & His

Pelham Heath Inn Orchestra plays "Ol' Man River" and "Why Do I

Love You" on 78rpm Harmony 607-H.


Both sides were done in New York City on March 3, 1928.


The record is in excellent (E) condition, and plays really nice!
