Description
You are bidding on a rare Lou Reed/Velvet Underground 7" inch 45 rpm Flexi-Disc. Based on the information I could locate the flexi was only included in the book, Andy Warhol's Index and is an interview with Lou Reed/Velvet Underground. This item is in Good shape only. It definitely has some age. The front has light creasing and surface marks on the disc side, some slight fraying around the edges, and some discoloration. The back has discoloration, some staining, and definite wear. I was going to play test but the spindle hole shows no sign of use. Because it is a flexi/paper I didn't want to cause any push through damage to the front of the disc so I did not play test and cannot guarantee the sound quality or that it will play all the way through especially with the light creasing on the right hand side. This is definitely not an everyday player and probably more of a display/frameable piece. I tried to capture all of the different items I noted in the pictures. Even with all of the issues, the Lou Reed picture looks good and this is a very cool, rare piece of rock/art history. A great collectible for fans of Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground!
