Description
Up for Sale is a Semi-Rare album from 1990 the ONLY duet album from Former Velvet UnderGround Bandmates Lou Reed & John Cale called Songs for Drella.
I purchased this Lp in Germany for a 30 year Lp it is in Very Nice condition.
The Lp itself I will downgrade to a VG/VG+,maybe higher but i'll stay at that Rating to be fair.The Lp plays all the way thru without skipping.There are some light surface scratches that do not adversely effect play.I've only cleaned the Lp using basic filtered,de-ionized water and a super soft sponge and a soft shammy to dry it.It cold probably use a nice light to medium cleaning possibly even a nice professional cleaning by yourself or a local record store to get it playing even better than it already does.There is some light crackle during quiet parts which could be improved with a better,deeper cleaning than what I gave it. The Lp looks Very Nice and plays well though.
The Cover I will rate at VG,might be higher depending on your grading system. For a 30 year old record it is in decent shape.There is normal wear on the corners and cover for being 3 decades old but it looks pretty nice.It has no serious rips,tears or hole punches on it front ot back which is also nice about the cover.For people who like specifics it comes with a 1 sheet insert with lyrics printed in german with Andy Warhol's face printed on the insert.It also comes with a Personalized Insert sleeve for the Lp to go in,which is pictured and is white,and on it contains album information and lyrics in English.It's nice a nice added bonus to have both the personalized Lp insert sleeve to also contain poly lining to help keep the Lp in nice shape,The insert sleeve had some ripping on the left/right sides from age about an inche or so,if you would like photos showing that please do ask and I will put up more photos,which it has for 30 years now.
