Description

I’m a bit out of my depth with this one (I collect pre-war blues and hillbilly!) but Mr Google tells me that Louie Ramirez was a pioneering boogaloo, salsa and Latin jazz percussionist, vibraphonist, band leader and composer.

Mr Google’s close friend Mr Diz Cogs tells me that he is VERY collectable, so here goes...

 

Here we have Louie Ramirez with “En El Corazon De Harlem Espanol” known to gringos as “In The Heart Of Spanish Harlem” on a 60's UK Mercury 20113MCL vinyl LP.

It features Boogaloos and Shingalings and lotsa chanting, Latin rhythms and bashing things.

It is a VERY CLEAN VG++ (or better) vinyl LP inside a slightly less exquisite sleeve. It plays beautifully.
