Description

Louis Armfield's Spiritual Jazz Quintet "Seven Spirits" LP on his own Victoria-Judith label from 1981 (which seems to have been manufactured by Black Lion records). Killer set of spiritual / modal jazz from Armfield featuring Rashid Al-Akbar on bass, Sumire Nukina on piano, Helga Meza on conga, and Roger Baird on drums. Armfield has played and recorded with the likes of Sunny Murray, Glenn Spearman, Francois Tusques, etc., but this was his only effort as a leader. Record: mint ; Jacket: excellent, has written on the back: to my poetic friend Lee and a signature, probably by the producer.

NOTE! Postage indicated in the auction is not the actual postage as ebay doesn't allow a higher postage then 4 GBP in this category. Postage for this item is 6 GBP within Europe and 9 GBP for the rest of the world.
