Louis Armstrong And His Hot Seven--OKeh 8774
Original 78rpm record, OKeh 8774, Louis Armstrong And His Orchestra, Dallas Blues b/w Bessie Couldn't Help It. A side recorded December 1929, B side recorded February 1930. Playing surface is bright and shiny, with a few minor scuffs and scratches but minimal background noise. There is a surface hairline crack to the B side at 11 o'clock position [does not affect playing], and there is a large index sticker on the B side label as well. What makes the record interesting is that the labels are on the wrong sides! Still a nice example of a somewhat hard-to-find reissue label and is in Very Good [VG] condition--would be better were it not for the hairline and the sticker. Any questions please feel free to ask.
78RPM RECORD SHIPPING PROCEDURE: Record is sleeved in a heavy duty plastic bag, with three pieces of stiff cardboard on each side, securely taped to prevent sliding. Assembly is then wrapped in double layers of bubble wrap and packed in a stout, well-marked box. Will be glad to combine shipping on multiple records.
