Description

An original 1972 pressing of FC's on the UK Elektra label. Matrix A1/B1. The deadwax is still stamped with the original Elektra 74013 catalogue number. At just four years after 1st release it's not far from those original masters. The vinyl comes housed in an original G&L cover. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great shape and has only seen light use.  Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side -nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. And you'll really need this particularly on a low-key folk record like this one. Very nice clean rendition throughout. The only issues were....Just some light background during "And More Again" . Nothing invasive - it just won't play quite as clean as the rest of the LP. Track 1 on side 2 exhibits just a bit of crackle temporarily midway through in one isolated moment. Overall a very fine example of this sought after folk classic. 
Cover (Ex-) Has been taken good care of. A very nice white shiny front with little sign of ageing or creasing. The rear doesn't seen to have aged either - just some light handling noticeable. Very little edge wear and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retain excellent rigidity.
