Love Forever Changes Mid 80s Elektra Pressing VG++/NM Arthur Lee Bryan MacLean Cover : VG++ Mid-80s thin white cardboard in super shape. Really close to mint.A stray crease nearly an inch at top left area.Barely noticeable on the white surface.Very solid seams.Minor insignificant bumps at sleeve opening maybe from cellophane removal.Hardly any corner wear/bumps.One tiny paper split has been present for about 30 years on the spine on the word "Changes",not fully broken.Tiny bit of dark ring wear having begun(and kept from escalating since purchase)on top of back sleeve(about 1 1/2 inches).
Disc:NM. Mid 80s Red/Black "Anita Baker"-era Elektra Label,surely the final U.S. pressing of this LP (prior to internet-era 180 gram entries).Nice matching Elektra inner sleeve. I can't see any scratches or blemishes at all. Shiny black vinyl. Disc plays almost without flaw.Very quiet all the way through.Upon the first needle drop on "Alone Again Or" there are two quiet "lead-in groove" pops and then just 99 % noise-free music until the glorious end.Highly recommended copy if you're not obsessed with having an original or if you just enjoy collecting label variations for classic works.
