The vinyl is in vg+/excellent condition. (retains new gloss, only the lightest of marks. strong light shows only very few, very light hair lines and use) (some light crackle in quiet sections and between songs. I do not own a cleaning machine, the vinyl looks great, i cant see any sign of over playing)
The sleeve is in vg+/excellent condition. The spine and edges are crisp. No shelf wear, small scuff on bottom right corner - view photo.
The labels are in vg+/excellent condition.
I have just played the record at a friends house and it didnt have the same crackle between songs. On investigation of my equipment i have discovered that the balance pot on my amp is cracked and is pushing one channel to both sides on top of the other. On a mono record this (depending on the mix) increases the volume of high or low frequencies respectively. On Aftermath there is almost no drumming at all, just recording and record hiss ! On Love - Forever Changes, we are left with very little background crackle, i feel an acceptable and normal listening experience.
