Love LP Forever Changes 1967 A1/B1 Mono Elektra label EKL 4013
If you're a purist vinyl collector looking for a pristine original copy to play on gold-plated systems, then please don't buy! This fabulous LP was there at the time, so it's a tad tired. It was played on my Dansette over and over. It was taken to flower power parties and danced to while puffing a naughty bit of pot.
It was my favourite LP and I loved it but I've got the CD, and on Spotify, so having taken a photo of that iconic psychedelic painting of the band Love on the front cover, I'm passing this forward now for anyone who just wants a dear old 52-year-old hippy piece of vinyl. I've taken photos as honestly as I can with a few bits of sellotape and a rip or two and age browning.
That said, I've recorded it to digital a while back because I love the authentic sounds from over fifty years – exactly as I listened to it. It plays okay right through, that's all I remember.
