You are buying an original pressing of My Bloody Valentine's Loveless. The dead wax reads "Townhouse 3" and the UPC reads 5 017556 300602.

I bought this in Austin, Texas at Waterloo records during MBV's Loveless tour when I met them and they signed my poster. Poster is NOT included in this auction.

THE GOOD:

I have been the only owner of this record. I have played it maybe twenty times since I bought it. I use a Shure 95 cartridge with a Jico HE stylus tracking at 1.25 grams. I've taken extremely good care of the record. I have played the record through recently—The record originally came in an inner cardboard sleeve and the sleeve left some light marks from being pulled in and out. There is some surface noise here or there and a tick or pop here or there. I have not cleaned this record. If you own a professional machine for cleaning records, the record would benefit from a cleaning.

As it stands, the record plays very well and sounds great.

The jacket has some small dings here or there. Please see the pictures. The spine shows a little wear, but no splits. I kept this record in an audiophile sleeve outside the jacket and both inside a resealable sleeve.

The record originally came in a inner cardboard sleeve and there is a light scuff here or there.

The record retains its high gloss.

The label is nice condition.

THE BAD:

When I bought this record the inner cardboard sleeve has a diagonal line seen in picture 4 (small printing error?).

The sleeves aren't perfect—they show some light handling.

I'll ship this priority in a large box. I don't want it warped or dinged in shipping. I've owned since this record was pressed and I don't want it mangled by the post office. Shipping will reflect the added padding and speed.

I use USPS Priority because it comes with insurance, tracking, and arrives in the hands the buyer quickly. That method best protects the buyer and the item doesn't sit in the mail.

In the rare event USPS damages the item in transit, either one of us can file a claim. Please note, that if you would like me to to file the claim, you will need to mail the item and the original mailing package back. USPS needs to see both the item and the package.
