Sandie Shaw was one of the most successful British female singers of the 1960s, forever famous for winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1967 with "Puppet On A String".She dominated the UK charts with a flood of pop hits during the late 1960s - including three number one singles - yet ventured into a funkier direction with this her fifth studio album.This was Shaw's first time producing an album herself and she chose songs by alternative artists from the 1960s with covers of tracks by The Beatles, Rufus Thomas, Lovin' Spoonful, Dr.John, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and what, on release in 1969, was the first ever cover of a Led Zeppelin song (Your Time Is Gonna Come).Her sensual voice and a strong backing band, featuring Ian Wallace of King Crimson on drums, gives these classic tunes a new lease of life.This release features the long lost mono mix of the original album plus a second disc of bonus material from the same sessions, including versions of Paul McCartney's 'Junk' and 'Frank Mills' from the Broadway show Hair, collected together on vinyl for the first time.

Returns:

You must return the products to us at your own cost and risk. You will not have any right to cancel a Contract for the supply of products that have been customised for you, such as pre-cut or terminated speaker cables. This provision does not affect your statutory rights. We cannot accept returns for Ex Display / Repaired / B-Stock or items sold by auction unless the item was not as described in the listing. The buyer must contact us within 3 days of receiving the item to initiate a return. The buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.
Payment:
We ask that payment is made within 3 days. We prefer payment by PayPal, and will only ship the item your PayPal confirmed address when PayPal is used. We also accept payment by uncrossed postal order, Personal Cheque, Bank Transfer and Credit Card by telephone. If payment isn’t received within 3 days, a Non-Paying bidder dispute will be filed, and the item may be offered to the next highest bidder or relisted at our sole discretion.
Shipping:
All goods purchased are securely and safely packaged for transit. The cost of Packaging materials (e.g. Jiffy Bags, Bubble Wrap etc) is included in the P&P charge. Items will normally be sent within 3 working days of receipt of cleared payment.
Stock:
Most items are either in stock with us or our suppliers and available for dispatch within 3 days. Occasionally, an item may be awaiting stock and in these instances we will contact you to confirm you are happy to wait for the item. If availability is key for you, we recommend you check an item is in stock before placing your order.
