Description
Up for sale is a copy of Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor on vinyl. This is the original first pressing from 2006, very hard to find nowadays. This copy is in good condition, but it has its flaws.
The biggest and most noticeable flaw has to be the ring wear all along the front and back of the outer sleeve. This of course doesn’t affect play at all but if you want to display the record or just admire it, it could be an issue for some.
Comes with the original hype sticker stuck onto the front cover, indicating that this is indeed the first pressing. The barcode on the back also indicates it being the original first pressing.
Besides the ring wear, the only other “big” issue is a small seam split on the top of the outer sleeve, noticeable on the front cover. There are minor issues such as dings and scratches on the outer sleeve, which I pictured as best as I could. And that’s really all there is in terms of cosmetic issues.
Comes with original inner sleeves. Unfortunately missing the insert that it would have come with, but I bought my copy second hand so I never even had it to begin with. Records are in good shape. They may be a bit dusty due to age. Last time I spun them they sounded slightly distorted, but that is due to the pressing itself since this was pressed during an era where more care was put into CD pressings than vinyl pressings.
Overall, it’s an alright listening copy, but an amazing collector’s copy. If you’re a big Lupe fan, this is for you. Probably one of the better almost complete copies of the OG pressing that has gone up in a while.
Due to its overall condition and rarity, I don’t really know what a fair price for it would be, so I am more than open to offers!
