Description
This is Creative Consciousness Records CC1002T, Luther Thomas 11th Street Fire Suite, an original issue (with insert) of this rare private label from 1978 featuring afro-centric free jazz solo saxophone and duets with flutist Luther C. Petty. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of use. The labels are perfect. The original liner note insert is also near mint. The cover has small bumps on the corners and a small amount of foxing but is otherwise excellent and intact. This is a very strong copy of this wonderful, rare, collector's piece with no reserve. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months.
