NOTES AND CONDITION: The grail of early Tejano music, here is a 78 rpm disc you don't see everyday! Mal Hombre by the "Mother of Tejano music", Lidya (Lydia) Mendoza. Recorded in San Antonio, Texas and issued by Bluebird Records in 1934. As featured in the 2017 roots music documentary, "American Epic" and accompanying box set. Disc is in V+ condition. Surface is somewhat dulled with moderate wear, scratches and scuffs. Plays through good and loud with no skips (watch video). Labels have mild wear and a scratch on b-side (see photo). A nice copy of a very rare record.
