Description
Lyrita SRCS 109, Malcolm Arnold, English, Scottish & Cornish Dances, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Malcolm Arnold – Lyrita Records stereo SRCS 109, blue label disc pressed in England. This is not the Nimbus pressing with the two rings in the label. No Nimbus in the deadwax. This analogue recording has been highly praised for its natural and musical sound. It was featured in HP's “Golden Dozen”, "Top Seven" and "Best of the Best" on the TAS Super Disk List for many years, and HP was right (as he usually was) - the sound is dazzling with incredible hall ambiance, astounding imaging and very powerful and dynamic low bass. This copy is virtually perfect – I purchased it myself, new many years ago and have played it only twice. The vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy, and exceptionally quiet with NO pops, clicks, tics, or skips - it is dead quiet, with NO marks whatsoever. The vinyl looks and plays mint (M). The labels also look new as does the jacket (see photos). In summary, this is a MINT copy of this wonderful audiophile analogue recording. Feel free to return for a full refund if not completely satisfied. Shipping is free anywhere in the continental US. Outside of the US, buyer pays shipping through eBay's Global Shipping Program.
